Umbraco Platinum Partner

Umbraco specialists since 2016

Umbraco is the platform most of our work is built on. Since 2016 we have delivered Umbraco builds, upgrades, migrations and support for government agencies, not-for-profits and enterprise organisations across Australia, New Zealand and the USA. Your project is run by people who have solved the same problems before: complex content models, CRM and membership integrations, multi-site platforms, accessibility and security requirements, and version upgrades that keep what already works.

Umbraco Platinum Partner

The highest tier in Umbraco's partner programme, based on certified developers, delivery record and community contribution.

500+ websites since 2016

Builds, rebuilds and upgrades for organisations across Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

Government, NFP and enterprise

Delivery that meets accessibility, security, procurement and governance requirements.

One team, build to support

Strategy, UX, design, development, hosting and support stay with the same Umbraco team.

Umbraco development services

We cover the full Umbraco lifecycle, from a first build through to upgrades, integrations and long-term support. Content editors get a backoffice set up around how they work. Your technical team gets clean, documented .NET code on a supported Umbraco version.

We work headless, hybrid or fully coupled, host on Microsoft Azure or Umbraco Cloud, and use Umbraco's own add-ons such as Forms, Workflow and Commerce where they fit. More detail is on our Umbraco expertise page.

Client feedback

I had the pleasure of appointing Koben to migrate the City's corporate website Kentico solution to Umbraco CMS and we couldn't have been happier with the results. The project was delivered on time and on budget. Koben understood our priorities and implemented a delivery approach focused on best practice to meet those objectives.
Franko SemanLeader of Digital Experience, City of Canning
Koben's technical expertise and collaborative approach ensured a smooth process from start to finish. Koben delivered a new website with upgrades to our website security, infrastructure, applied a modern design, improved functionality, and performance. The new Umbraco CMS is easy to use and provides us with the flexibility to create customised content.

Existing Umbraco sites

If your Umbraco site was built by another agency, is on an older version, or has no one looking after it, we start with a platform review. We check the Umbraco version, packages, hosting, integrations and security patching, then give you a written summary of risks and a support plan.

Umbraco 7, 8 and 10 are past end of life and no longer receive security updates. We upgrade these sites to the current long-term support release in planned stages, so editors keep working while it happens. Our guide to Umbraco end of life covers the dates for each version.

Considering Umbraco

Umbraco suits organisations with complex content, several audiences, integrations with other systems, and teams who need to publish without developer help. It is open source with no licence fee, and runs on Microsoft .NET, so it fits organisations already using Azure and Microsoft 365.

We will tell you plainly whether Umbraco is the right fit. If it is, we map your content, integrations and migration path before any build starts. The City of Canning moved from Kentico to Umbraco with us, on time and on budget, and Hearts for Moms moved from Wix to Umbraco Cloud.

Choosing an Umbraco partner

If you have already chosen Umbraco, the next decision is the partner. Ask any agency for Umbraco case studies, the number of certified Umbraco developers on the team, which versions they have upgraded, and who supports the site after launch.

Koben is an Umbraco Platinum Partner. Our Umbraco work includes BCNA, Australia for UNHCR, NAIF, Vinnies and Export Finance Australia. The team that builds your platform is the team that supports it.
